The house we stayed in had not been cleaned for weeks, not maintained and not child-friendly. I sent an email for this, expecting a refund, but my email is simply ignored. Then I will list the same points again here, so that future tenants know where they are staying. First of all, the cutlery in the drawer was not clean. We found the heating dangerous for small children. We had a 1 year old baby who could just walk. The heating was scalding hot and not shielded, which made it very unsafe for her. We found it difficult to regulate the heating. It was very warm all weekend. A manual would have been useful. When we arrived, the lights were still on everywhere downstairs, but we had to write down the energy level at the end of our stay… The worst thing and what we are most unhappy about is that it had not been cleaned. It seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Too bad I can't add attachments here. 1 Dust or spider web can be overlooked, but we found them everywhere. While making the beds, we walked into one web after another. There were even dead spiders hanging in many webs. We can understand that after cleaning in the morning a live spider still appears in the evening. But in 1 room we killed or cleaned up at least 15 spiders and we didn't have them all yet. Even dead moths on the wall and blood stains from dead insects. Two weeks after our stay, I finally got our deposit back. I have not yet received any compensation or response to our complaints.

Great location with beautiful surroundings where you have a huge piece of land to yourself. Nice new kitchen, recently installed which looks very modern and nice. However, on arrival about 200 flies present in the house..... Constantly having to exercise the same week to chase all flies away. Final score 200+/- flies killed not a pretty sight.

The house is in a beautiful place and indeed has a wide view which is very beautiful. However, the house itself is in a lesser condition. We have indicated many points for improvement, but the question is what will be done with it. It is a 9 person house. We were 7 people and there was not enough cutlery and glassware for that. There were also extremely many flies in and around the house, later in the week we also had extreme nuisance from wasps in the house (there appeared to be 2 nests in the wall near the large bedroom upstairs). All in all, we do not look back positively on the house itself, luckily the environment makes a lot of good!

Receipt of key was fine. Explanation was good. House looked neat only the kitchen content was not clean. Many dirty plates, glasses and cups stuck to the bottom of the cupboard. Many dirty cutlery and some with rust. Dishwasher smelled terrible. In short, not hygienic in the kitchen. Rest of house was clean. Toilet downstairs was loose.

Everything in order. Hours for picking up the key should be a little later on Friday for people who drive from their work to the Ardennes. Until 21h would be perfect.

Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful view from the house. Make beautiful nature walks. At first sight, the house seemed neat, but at a later stage, it seemed quite a bit of a downside.

The cottage was difficult to find on the way to getting directions. Lots of space around the house, beautiful views. Unfortunately, a lot of flying.
