We had an excellent stay in the Verger gite. The view is superb!
The house is beautiful. Large, spacious and fully equipped. The garden is also lovely. The owner is extremely friendly. He responds quickly to questions. Our car broke down and we had nowhere to go. The owner helped us fantastically. We were allowed to borrow his car for shopping and eating out. He gave us a tour of his castle. Really super!
Spacious house in a quiet village with lovely views at the back. Especially that unobstructed view; we really enjoyed that! From the house you can walk straight into the forest. You can make lovely walks in the area on both paved and forest paths. The house itself and the furnishings could be improved on a number of points such as: doors that were very sticky, crockery that was not clean and it was not possible to put the car in the garage. The living room and kitchen are lower than the entrance to the house on the street side : from the hall you take the stairs down which is 11 steps. The contact person is responsive and very helpful.
Gite was perfect environment also very hospitable host really enjoyed money well worth super
