The closest official starting point of the ski trails is at Ylläsjärvi village, but a couple of kilometers away, the trail goes across Ahvenkangas.

Barbecue hut is in the yard.

Sehr schöne Hütte, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Küche mit Vollausstattung. Tolle Sauna. Verwalter hatte bei Anreise angeheizt und war bei Heizungsproblem unverzüglich zur Stelle. Verwalter macht tollen Job.
