30 km to the northeast from the center of Ranua, 105 km to the southeast from Rovaniemi, lake Simojärvi 25 m (Lautaselkä), shallow beach, soft bottom, pier, own rowing boat. Outboard motor (3.6 hp, 2-stroke) available for rent from the owner. The fuel is included in the rental fee.
Log-built cabin, built in 2020. Inner walls are panelled.
Living room/kitchen, two bedrooms, both with double bed, living area with spreadable sofa, sauna, washroom/WC, separate WC, and covered terrace.
Traditional lean-to shelter and campfire site by the lake. A fence and dog house on the yard.

Der Schnee war geräumt, das Haus war vorgeheizt, es war genug Holz verfügbar und es gab Hinweise bei Bedarf mehr aus dem Schuppen zu holen. Alle Vorräte im Haus durften benutzt werden. Das war sehr einladend. Die Terrassentür lies sich leider nur einen Spalt öffnen, so dass ein Zugang zur Terrasse nicht möglich war. Im Winter sehr ruhige Lage.
